History Ai Waka Culture

Ai Waka Culture is a side-by-side initiative of TWENTY4SVN. Ai Waka is Surinamese and means "It runs" or "It walks." When we talk about something that runs/walks, we usually refer to things going well and progressing. So we talk about what's beautiful, enjoyable (Spang), and positive; then... Ai Waka!

Since 2018, TWENTY4SVN has offered Keti Koti-related items every year. Culture is music, food, color/style, and much more. We believe this shouldn't be lost, and we're happy to embrace these beautiful elements. First and foremost, our heritage and Surinamese culture (to start with) deserve a platform. We're more than happy to give it that!

Ai Waka Culture is and will remain part of TWENTY4SVN. Therefore, all Ai Waka articles will be available here on this website.
